Day1 : Antananarivo-Morondava

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and board the flight to Morondava, western part of Madagascar. Lunch at a local restaurant in front of the beach. In the afternoon, visit of the fishermen’s village of Betania and the mangrove by pirogue . Accomodation in hotel

Day 2: Morondava-Belo sur Tsiribihina

By 4WD ,in direction to Belo sur Tsiribihina , 125km / 4 hours drive in a rough road. Picnic lunch. Belo sur Tsirbihina is the town at the end of the Tsiribihina river, the cultural capital of the sakalava tribe. It is worth a night relaxing before getting Bekopaka and its tsingy. Day 3:Belo sur Tsiribihina-Bekopaka

Morning departure to Bekopaka at 120 Km / 4 hours drive , in direction to the Tsingy of Bemaraha, which is classified as one of the world wonders by UNESCO, fascinating limestones with sharp pinnacle formation. Check in at the Orchidée hotel, then lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, exploration of the small tsingy: labyrinth of limestones, points of view on the “tsingy”, we can meet with white lemurs or sifaka, red fronted brown lemurs, birds …Accomodation in hotel or camping

Day 4 : Bekopaka

This day will start with the visit of the gorge of Manambolo on a dug out canoe: caves, stalactites and stalagmites, the famous tomb of the vazimba tribe who lived in the “tsingy” in the 17th century. Then for those who are ready to do a big trekking ( under 50 years old), drive 15km /1hour to the big tsingy: 30meters high cracks, forest’s canyons where lives lemurs and various flora , cathedral of rocks, point of view on the hightest roof of the big tsingy. Picnic lunch. .Accomodation in hotel or camping

Day 5: Bekopaka-Kirindy

After breakfast, drive back . Stop for lunch at Belo sur Tsiribihina. Stop for one night in the Kirindy forest where you can have the opportunity to spot the famous “fossa” , Madagascar’s predator, an endangered species . Accomodation in basic lodge in the park or camping.

Day 6 : Kirindy – Morondava

Morning to be spent in the forest. In the afternoon, we try to catch sunset at the baobab avenue before arriving in Morondava. Accomodation in hotel

Day 7:Morondava-Antananarivo

Transfer to the airport and flight back to Antananarivo
