Madagascar where Nature rarely untouched surrounds you. The island is well covered with vegetation: rainforests, dry tropical forests or spiny forests, amazing trees such as the baobab tree, the palm tree, the "ravinala"tree and extraordinary flowers such as orchids and periwinkles.
Because of its isolated location in the middle of the Indian Ocean lasting a little more than 100 million years, Madagascar developed a very different fauna and flora from all the fauna and the flora of the whole world. It has a strong rate of endemism as regards vegetations. More than 75% of the plant species which it presents only exists on the island itself. In other words, they exist nowhere else except in the Large island. The distinction of Madagascar was worth its given name as “nature sanctuary or naturalists paradise”. Scientists classified it as country with “mega biodiversity” which simply wants to say that almost all of the plant species existing in Madagascar constitute rare resources which deserve protection and recognition of the planet.
